We process personal data in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR and the BDSG. We proceed data only if there is a respective valid legal basis.

When you visit our platform, our servers store certain data by default such as connection data and pages visited in order to ensure the operation of the platform and the desired functions. Details on the individual data processing can be found in the data protection settings.

If you are or become a customer, we process your data exclusively for order processing and invoicing as well as for communication in connection with your orders. 2. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (collectively “cookies”) on this platform. Cookies store information on your device, access your device or read information from it and may also process personal data.

We use Matomo for an anonymous analysis of our website (see point 3.). If you have given us your consent via the data protection settings in the consent window, we also link the corresponding activities to your user ID. Otherwise, we only use cookies that are necessary for the operation of our website and application. 3. Website Analysis with Matomo

We use the open source analysis service Matomo on our platform for the statistical evaluation of user numbers and for analysis purposes. We host Matomo on our own systems and use Matomo without cookies. Matomo captures the information automatically transmitted by your end device, such as device type, screen resolution, operating system and browser data, as well as activities on the platform, such as clicks and downloads. If you have given your consent in the data protection settings this data will be linked to and saved together with your user ID. Otherwise, we generate a random character string (so-called hash) from the above-mentioned access information and other random factors and use this instead of the user ID so that you are not directly identifiable to us. The hash value enables us to anonymously assign successive actions to a user. The hash is not stored on your end device (browser) permanently or in a session, but only in the working memory for a short time. If the website is reloaded, a new hash is generated. This means that users are not recognised when they return to the platform and the corresponding data is not merged. The information obtained via Matomo is not merged with other information and is not transmitted to third parties. Data processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interest in analysing reach and gaining a better understanding of how our platform is used. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR. You can object to the website analysis and the associated processing of your data by Matomo by clicking here: Matomo opt-out. A so-called opt-out cookie will then be stored in your browser. This processing is necessary so that we can implement your objection in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR. Please note that you must object again in case you visit our platform with a different browser or delete the cookies stored on your device.
